Overview

Instagram Dashboard is an independent browser extension that displays the home feed for the Instagram account already signed in to Instagram. This website provides information about the extension. Neither is affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta.

Instagram feed data

When you open the dashboard, the extension uses the session already active in your browser to request your Instagram home feed directly from Instagram over HTTPS. The returned feed can include usernames, captions, media URLs, timestamps, and engagement counts. This information is used only to show and refresh the dashboard, and is kept in temporary browser memory for the current dashboard session.

The developer does not receive, store, sell, rent, or share your Instagram session information, Instagram feed data, or copied post links. The extension does not access passwords, payment information, direct messages, contacts, or browsing activity outside Instagram.

Extension settings and copied links

The extension stores the dashboard settings you choose, such as theme, autoplay, and whether it should open automatically or restore its previous visibility, in your browser's extension storage. These settings stay on your device unless your browser synchronizes them under its own settings. If you choose Copy link, the selected post URL is sent only to your device's clipboard.

Optional feedback

If you choose to send optional feedback, the extension sends your message, optional email address, optional screenshot, and extension version to the developer's Google-hosted feedback service. Instagram feed data, account information, and session information are not included. The feedback may be stored in a private Google Form, linked response sheet if configured, private Google Drive screenshot folder, and the developer's feedback inbox. Your optional email address is used only to reply about your feedback.

Google processes that information as the service provider for Google Apps Script, Google Forms, Google Drive, and Gmail, subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Feedback is retained only as long as needed to address the submission. You can ask the developer to delete feedback you submitted through the support contact on the Chrome Web Store listing.

Website analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website use, such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device information, referral source, and interactions with the site. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to collect this information. The site owner uses these reports to maintain and improve the website; it is not used to identify you personally or to build an Instagram profile.

Third-party services

The extension connects to Instagram to display the feed you request, subject to Instagram's applicable terms and privacy policy. When an emoji graphic appears in a caption, your browser may request it from X's public emoji-content server. This website connects to Google Analytics as described above.
